Sustainability in energy generation - expanding capacities in 2023.

Sustainable energy generation through hydropower and photovoltaics plays an important role in the long-term direction of our group. These two technologies provide efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for generating clean energy.

Hydropower is a proven method for harnessing electrical energy from flowing water. By utilizing hydroelectric power plants, the kinetic energy of rivers or waterfalls is converted into mechanical energy, which is then transformed into electrical energy using generators. This process is clean and does not produce harmful emissions.

On the other hand, photovoltaics harness the energy of the sun to generate electricity. By using solar cells, sunlight is directly converted into electrical energy. They produce emission-free electricity and contribute to reducing CO2 emissions. Solar energy is an inexhaustible energy source and is practically available everywhere.

The combination of hydropower and photovoltaics enables us to have diversified and sustainable energy supply. Both technologies complement each other well, with hydropower being reliable and continuously generating electricity, while photovoltaics efficiently utilize solar energy during the day.

Currently, we can produce nearly 2 GWh of green electricity per year through both production methods. This electricity is mainly used in our own production facilities and for our electric vehicle fleet, with any surplus power being fed back into the grid.
