NEWEST DEVELOPMENT in alkaline earth silicate fibre mats for temperatures up to 1300°C: Morgan Superwool® Prime replaces Superwool® HT.
Morgan Advanced Materials has pioneered the development of Superwool® low biopersistence (LBP) fibres to replace refractory ceramic fibres (RCF) in many applications in the temperature range up to 1300 °C.
The latest patented alkaline earth silicate (AES) LBP fibre, Superwool Prime, is characterised by various properties.
Superwool Prime is equivalent to the most popular LBP fibre, Superwool Plus, in terms of thermal properties and manageability.
Superwool Prime is patent protected and will support the expansion of LBP's fibre product portfolio in the 1300°C (2372°F) temperature range by providing you with a differentiated solution that delivers energy savings, improved efficiency and worker and process safety benefits.
