100 years of GASSER – A century of service to industry
Founded in Vienna in 1925, GASSER is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. From its courageous start in uncertain times to its expansion during the post-war reconstruction years and its integration into the Senn Group in 2017, our company has continued to evolve. Today, at our Erl location, we are setting new standards with the manufacture of foundry tools and accessories.

Gasser – Handel mit Gießerei- und Stahlwerksbedarf Gesellschaft m.b.H. was founded in Vienna in 1925 as GASSER & CO.
Since then, its sales activities have focused on crucibles and foundry supplies for steel and non-ferrous metal casting. The company has been based in Styria since 2010. Its proximity to key customers, the University of Leoben, and the Austrian Foundry Institute creates excellent synergies.
Since December 1, 2017, Gasser Gießereitechnologie GmbH has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Senn Beteiligungs GmbH, alongside RBS Kompensator GmbH and KS Kneissl & Senn Technologie GmbH. The company has locations in Austria (Tyrol) and Germany (Nuremberg).
