Chesterton 900 GoldEnd® Paste is a non-hardening, mouldable PTFE thread sealant and lubricant in one: filled with ultra-fine PTFE particles, it fills the gaps in the thread, seals it and keeps the thread permanently easy to release because it does not cure. As a lubricant and sealant it works up to 260 °C, as an anti-seize up to 149 °C, and it seals liquids and gases such as water, salt water, steam, fuels, refrigerants, acids, alkalis, propane, butane, nitrogen and ammonia. Typical applications are pipe connections as well as pneumatic and hydraulic fittings, where fast sealing and high pressure resistance are required.

Chesterton 900 GoldEnd ® Paste is a non-hardening, non-corrosive, mouldable PTFE thread sealant and lubricant for use under difficult conditions on pipe connections, pneumatic fittings and hydraulic lines. Lubricates threads during assembly, seals completely and allows easy release, for use at temperatures up to 260°C, non-hardening, non-corroding, non-toxic, no volatile solvents, approved by NSF and UL listed. For use as a thread sealant and lubricant for liquids: water, salt water, fuels, refrigerants, acids, alkalis, solvents, gases, steam, air, propane, butane, nitrogen and ammonia. Other applications also on pneumatic and hydraulic fittings, non-seizing seal up to 260°C, holds the seal in place during assembly.

What is Chesterton 900 GoldEnd® Paste used for?
It seals and lubricates threaded connections at the same time. It is used on pipe connections as well as pneumatic and hydraulic fittings, where fast sealing and high pressure resistance are required. During assembly it lubricates the thread, seals it completely and lets the connection be released again easily later.
Up to what temperature and pressure is the 900 GoldEnd® Paste resistant?
As a lubricant and sealant it works up to 260 °C, as an anti-seize up to 149 °C. The maximum pressure range is 352 kg/cm² for hydraulic fluids and 7 kg/cm² for gases.
Which media and threads is the paste suitable for?
It seals water, salt water, steam, air, fuels, refrigerants, many acids and alkalis as well as gases such as hydrogen, ammonia, propane, butane and nitrogen, and it is suitable for metal and plastic threads. Do not use with liquid or gaseous oxygen. Recommended for use on its own up to 10 mm on parallel threads and up to 25 mm on tapered threads.
