Chesterton® 610 synthetic lubricating fluid lubricates across a wide temperature range from -25 °C to over 270 °C, where petroleum-based lubricants char or gum up. The polyester base stock stays residue-free, evaporates cleanly above its working range, and keeps equipment self-cleaning thanks to a high detergent content. It is used on furnace and high-temperature chains, rolling bearings, gearbox housings, tenter frames and chain conveyors; the 610 MT Plus variant is additionally designed for roller chains and ContiRoll® presses.

Chesterton 610 ist eine 100 % synthetische Flüssigkeit reinigt und schmiert über einen breiten Temperature Range von -25 °C bis 270 °C. Die Flüssigkeit punktet mit einer geringen Verdunstungsrate und Verkoken wie auch mit einem hohen Detergenziengehalt (selbstreinigend). Die High Pressurezusätze verbessern die Belastbarkeit. Das Produkt wird in Maschinenbetrieb bei erhöhter Temperatur, gekühlten Bereichen, schwierigen Umgebungsbedingungen wie auch Ofen- und High Temperatureketten, bearings und Getriebgehäusern angewendet.

What is Chesterton® 610 synthetic lubricating fluid?
It is a fully synthetic, polyester-based lubricant that lubricates across the temperature range from -25 °C to over 270 °C. Unlike petroleum-based lubricants, it does not char, does not oxidise into sludge and does not varnish at high temperatures. When the operating temperature exceeds its working range, the product evaporates residue-free.
Where is Chesterton® 610 used?
It suits equipment running at elevated temperatures, refrigeration plants and demanding environments: furnace and high-temperature chains, motors, rolling bearings, impregnated bearings, paint drying ovens, light-duty gearboxes, tenter frames, oven door hinges and chain conveyors. The 610 MT Plus variant is additionally designed for roller chains and ContiRoll® presses in continuous fibre and laminate production.
Which viscosities and container sizes are available?
The range comprises 610 Plus (ISO VG 68, thinner), 610 MT Plus (ISO VG 220) and 610 HT (460), plus the 610E aerosol (350 g). Depending on the type, we supply liquid variants as a 5 l pail, 20 l canister and 208 l drum. The right viscosity depends on the load and temperature of the lubrication point; if you are unsure, we are happy to advise you.
How is Chesterton® 610 applied?
Apply by spraying or with a spray or oil can with a long spout onto each bearing or lubrication point, and re-lubricate as needed. On ContiRoll® presses, lubrication is carried out automatically or manually depending on the system. Before use, observe the safety data sheet and the guidelines applicable in your region.
