Chesterton® 635 SXC is a synthetic high-performance grease for applications with high temperatures and high water exposure, usable from -40 °C to 240 °C. It offers excellent extreme-pressure (EP) properties, first-class resistance to washout by water as well as effective corrosion protection, and is resistant to steam and corrosive chemicals. Typical fields of use are pulp and paper mills, steel, aluminium and metal processing, mining, power plants as well as water and wastewater facilities.

Chesterton 635 wird in Anlagen mit hohem Wassergehalt und hohen Temperaturen in Papier- und Zellstofffabriken, Mining, Stahl-, Aluminium- und Metallverarbeitung, Schifffahrt, Kraftwerke und Wasser und Abwasser angewendet.

Is the 635 SXC suitable for the food industry?
No. The 635 SXC is classified as H2 by NSF and intended for equipment where the lubricant does not come into contact with food. For applications with possible food contact, Chesterton® offers its own H1 greases such as 625 or 690 FG; we are happy to advise you on the selection.
