Chesterton® 651 Cleaning Lubricating Oil is a light multi-purpose lubricating oil with high detergent content that lubricates and cleans in a single pass. Thanks to its low viscosity (3.68 cSt at 99 °C), it penetrates even the tightest friction points, dissolves old varnish deposits and lubricant residues, and provides lasting protection for moving parts against friction wear. It is used across a temperature range of -23 °C to 150 °C on electric motors, high-speed bearings, pneumatic systems, assembly lines and sensitive instruments; as an authorized Chesterton® partner, the SENN Gruppe supplies the oil ex stock Klosterneuburg, Austria.

What is Chesterton® 651 Cleaning Lubricating Oil used for?
It is a light multi-purpose lubricating oil that lubricates and cleans at the same time. It is used wherever friction and wear occur: on electric motors, high-speed industrial bearings, pneumatic systems, assembly lines, door hinges and sensitive instruments. Thanks to its high detergent content, it simultaneously removes old varnish deposits and lubricant residues.
In which container sizes is Chesterton® 651 available?
We supply Chesterton® 651 as a 350 g aerosol spray can, a 20 l canister and a 208 l drum. The spray can is suited to spot applications, the canister and drum to use in existing lubrication systems. As an authorized Chesterton® partner, all containers are available ex stock Klosterneuburg.
How is Chesterton® 651 applied correctly?
As an aerosol spray, the oil is applied evenly and should be left to act for about one minute so that the deep-penetrating effect takes hold; a single application is usually sufficient. From bulk containers it can be used in existing lubrication systems or with the usual application methods for light lubricants. Observe the safety data sheet before use.
Is Chesterton® 651 suitable for use in food areas?
Chesterton® 651 is NSF H2 registered (registration number 133946 for bulk packaging, 133928 for aerosol). The H2 category means the lubricating oil may be used in food operations in places where food contact is not possible, but not where direct contact with food may occur.
