Chesterton® 723 Sprasolvo is a fast-acting penetrating oil that creeps deep into rust, scale and corrosion and frees seized bolts, nuts and connectors without harming the base metal. Thanks to its high capillarity and low surface tension, the product reaches even inaccessible areas where other penetrants fail, reduces the breakaway torque required and dissolves tar, grease, oil as well as carbon and graphite residues. Unlike combination products, 723 Sprasolvo is designed solely for maximum penetration; lubricants and corrosion inhibitors are deliberately left out, as they would reduce its penetrating ability.

What is Chesterton® 723 Sprasolvo used for?
723 Sprasolvo is a pure penetrating oil for freeing seized or corroded bolted and threaded connections. It is used on machines, pipework, valves, pumps as well as in workshops and plant engineering, wherever rust, tar, grease and dirt deposits prevent nuts and bolts from being loosened.
How deeply does 723 Sprasolvo penetrate and how is it applied?
Thanks to its low surface tension and high capillarity, 723 Sprasolvo creeps into microscopic gaps that other penetrants cannot reach. Apply it evenly straight from the aerosol can and allow it to act for about one minute. This significantly reduces the breakaway torque required.
Does 723 Sprasolvo attack metal, paint or plastic?
No. 723 Sprasolvo contains no acids or chemicals that would damage base metals or coatings, and is safe on plastics and painted surfaces. It dissolves rust, scale, corrosion, tar, grease and oil without attacking the base metal.
What is the difference between the 723E and 723FG variants?
Both are supplied as a 350 g aerosol. 723E is the standard version (NSF H2). 723FG is registered as food-grade (NSF H1, FDA 21 CFR) and suitable for areas with possible food contact. We are happy to help you decide which variant suits your application.
