    HOBRAFILT depth filter sheets, 200x200mm

    HOBRAFILT® - abridged instructions for use

    • Inserting the filter sheets - the filter sheets are provided with a coarse input side, a fine output side with and a grid pattern (the sheet also contains the inscription HOBRAFILT, type of filter sheet and batch).

    • Watering the filter layers - fill the lightly tightened filter with water so that the water reaches all elements and soaks the layers well. Then tighten the filter.

    • Rinsing the filter layers - the process should take about 10 to 15 minutes, in the direction of filtration and with the same capacity (l/m2/h) as the subsequent efficient filtration of the product. The rinsing process should last until clear water without aftertaste flows through the filter. If hot water is used, the rinsing time can be shortened.

    • Filtration conditions - slow start-up - constant, even flow - no sudden changes in filtration speed - adhere to the recommended capacity (l/m2/h) and the maximum permissible pressure difference (see table above) - avoid large pressure fluctuations when the layers are idle (this may cause the filtrate to be backwashed via the bypass pump) If possible, do not interrupt filtration - avoid sucking in air.
