Transport Manager / Dispatcher Scandinavia (m/f/d)
The SENN Group is your one-stop shop for high-quality products & services in the following areas: logistics, refractories, seals, foundry supplies, conveyor chains, expansion joints, plain bearings, lubricants and metal parts. To strengthen our team at the Erl site at SENN Logistik GmbH, we are looking for a Transport Manager / Dispatcher Scandinavia (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible – responsible for the traffic to Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Salary
€ 4,350 gross/month · full-time

Your tasks
- ● Independent dispatching and steering of transports to Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland
- ● Building, maintaining and developing a reliable carrier and partner network in Scandinavia
- ● Independent price calculation and quotation for Scandinavian routes
- ● Negotiating terms with shipping lines, ferry operators and subcontractors
- ● Ensuring compliance with customs and transport regulations for non-EU countries such as Norway
- ● Planning and monitoring transit times, utilisation and transport costs
- ● Ongoing support of existing customers and acquisition of new business partners
- ● Market observation and development of new transport solutions for the Scandinavian region

You bring with you
- ● Several years of experience in freight forwarding, dispatching or transport management, ideally in international long-haul
- ● Knowledge of Scandinavian transport routes or the willingness to get up to speed quickly
- ● Organisational talent, an entrepreneurial mindset and negotiating skills
- ● Good IT skills and confident use of transport software
- ● Strong communication skills and team spirit
- ● Business-fluent German and English; Scandinavian language skills an advantage
