To further expand our Scandinavian business at SENN Logistik GmbH at the Erl site, we are filling the new position of Transport Manager Scandinavia (m/f/d) – with full responsibility for freight to Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Your tasks

  • Full responsibility for transports to Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland
  • Steering and developing the carrier and partner network in the Scandinavian region
  • Planning and monitoring of transit times, capacity utilisation and transport costs
  • Ensuring compliance with customs and transport regulations for traffic to non-EU countries such as Norway
  • Negotiating terms with shipping lines, ferry operators and subcontractors
  • Analysing key figures and deriving measures to improve efficiency and quality
  • Close coordination with dispatch, sales and customers to secure delivery reliability
  • Building long-term customer relationships and developing new traffic in Scandinavia

You bring with you

  • Several years of experience in freight forwarding, transport management or dispatching, ideally in international long-haul
  • Knowledge of Scandinavian transport routes or the willingness to get up to speed quickly
  • A solid understanding of customs, ferry traffic and transport law outside the EU is an advantage
  • Negotiating skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • A structured, independent way of working and strong organisational skills
  • Business-fluent German and English, further languages an advantage
  • Confident use of standard IT and transport software
