Metal fabric/PTFE compound

A metal mesh interwoven with PTFE enables maintenance-free bearing points. This combination of materials reduces the weight of the entire bearing point to a minimum. AW-FR plain bearings are often used in vehicle construction. For example in door hinges.

Plain bearing made of self-lubricating composite material, with metallic backing and a PTFE compound as sliding layer, ready to install.

For use with high bearing pressures and low sliding speeds.

Good chemical resistance. Suitable for rotation and oscillation, also suitable for axial movements.
